6900-2RS Precision Single Row Radial Ball Bearing Both Sides Rubber Sealed and Pre-Lubricated with Grease
The 6900-2RS is a 10mm single row radial ball bearing that’s sealed with rubber on both sides and pre-lubricated with grease. It’s a 22mm OD sealed ball bearing SS6900-2RU made of chrome steel and features deep groove geometry that’s perfect for high speeds and light radial and axial loads. Rolling bearings like 6900DDU use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed and Shielded bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the SS6900-2NSL bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan.
