This ready-to-mount unit has a cast iron housing, chrome steel bearings, and is designed for efficient operation at a wide range of speeds. The unit is secured to the shaft with set screws to prevent slippage. These bearings are most commonly used in mechanical equipment where moderate loads and shaft speeds are involved where the shaft and mounting surface are perpendicular to each other.
