The F6800-ZZ is a 10mm flanged single row radial ball bearing that’s shielded with metal on both sides and pre-lubricated with grease. It’s a 19mm OD shielded ball bearing F6800-ZZ made of chrome steel and features deep groove geometry that’s perfect for high speeds and light radial and axial loads. This bearing features a steel flange on the outer diameter, designed to provide easier mounting in an application. Rolling bearings like F6800-ZZ use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed and Shielded bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the F6800-ZZ bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan.
